Investors don't know as much about ETFs as they should, writes Rick Ferri for Forbes.

And, he thinks that the industry needs to something about it. In the article he writes:

I do have concerns that investors in ETFs and other ETPs are not getting the educational support needed to make fair and informed decisions. I believe the industry can do a better job educating investors about how their products work.

Ferri then goes to outline a number of misunderstandings that retail investors have about the products.
