There has been a change of the guard in one of the C-Suite offices at Van Eck [profile].

Janet Squitieri now serves as the ETF firm's chief compliance officer, succeeding Joseph McBrien, who is now senior vice president and chief legal counsel.

Before joining Van Eck, Squiteri had served for three years as chief compliance officer at HSBC [profile], according to an SEC filing.
