Let's get moving!

SEC commissioner Mary Jo White is pushing agency regulators to crank through over 1,000 pages of draft rules, including the Volcker ban, before the holidays, Reuters reports.

The newswire notes that White is a tough taskmaster, with a reputation "for getting by with little sleep and sending e-mails at 2 a.m."

The recent Federal government shutdown couldn't have made this any easier.
