Stock pickers, at least some of them, are getting respect once again, according to the Associated Press via Washington Post.

The pickers that are getting the respect are those that focus on smaller caps or on cheap stocks, according to AP.

Among the managers noted in the article, Pax World Small Cap fund (PXSCX) manager Nathan Moser, Chase Mid Cap Growth fund (CHAMX) manager Brian Lazorishak, and chief investment officer at Motley Fool Asset Management chief investment officer Bill Mann.
