The leadership of socially responsible investor Schwartz Investment, manager of the Ave Maria funds has evolved.
For example, founder George Schwartzman has been elevated, from president, to chairman and chief executive of the firm.
Following in his wake, Richard Platte was promoted to president, while Timothy Schwartz was named executive vice president.
Meanwhile, Brandon Scheitler was named co-portfolio manager of the Ave Maria Bond Fund (AVEFX) to serve along with Mr. Platte, who has managed the fund since its inception in 2003.
Cathy Stoner was named vice president and Laura Preston was promoted to director of operations.
Finally, Robert Schwartz was named vice president of Schwartz Investment Trust, the entity which oversees the Ave Maria Mutual Funds and the Schwartz Value Fund.
