Peter Chambers has stepped down as the chief investment officer at London-based
Gartmore Group. The resignation was announced on Wednesday by the Nationwide owned asset manager.
Chambers had headed the investment group of both the British and U.S. sides of the firm. His duties are being taken over by three executives. Roger Bartley will be the fixed income global chief investment officer, Young Chin is the equity global chief investment officer and former Putnam executive Quintin Price will be the chief investment officer for equities overseeing the U.K. business.
