A senior business development of executive for the RIA channel formerly with
BNY Mellon Asset Management has joined an alts platform.
Daniel Cronin, formerly senior vice president for business development for RIAs at
BNY Mellon Asset Management, is now a managing director at
iCapital Network, Inc., which allows investors to source, analyze and invest in alts managers.
While at BNY Mellon, Cronin developed business for the 16 independent boutiques owned by
BNY Investment Management. In particular, he represented BNY/Dreyfus Investment affiliates to top RIA firms including PAMs, TAMPs and RACs.
Before that, he was a senior vice president, director at
RBC Advisor Services, and before that worked for 12-years at Fidelity in a number of positions, including vice president, RIA new business development, sales manager-regional vice president and senior sales, asset manager segment.
He is the third senior sales executive to leave the BNY greater family in five months. Intermediary distribution head
