Allianz [profile] sure knows how to host a reception! With decadent grilled shrimp, beautifully seared scallops, and tender beef sliders, who can complain?

More than 20 CIOs, PMs and global investment professionals gathered together for a fun-filled meet and greet last night at Allianz Global Investors' media reception. Held in Allianz's New York office on the 42nd floor, the space offered reporters a view of midtown Manhattan that was nothing less than incredible.

Yet it wasn't just PM types representing Allianz at the event. Brian Gaffney, CEO of AGI in the U.S., welcomed attendees. Retirement chief Glenn Dial, behavioral finance guru Shlomo Benartzi, U.S. retail chief John Carroll and chief marketing officer Sue King also came to the event.

Hors d'oeuvres included: juicy red grapes, grilled pita bread, hummus, and crackers that were accompanied by lovely aged cheese. Waiters also walked around with trays of mouthwatering bites of ham and cheese sandwiches, tuna, grilled shrimp, a caprese-like salad, and more.

As the three hour reception came to a close, guests were given Allianz gift bags with Allianz-branded wine.
