Neuberger Berman has rebranded its managed accounts group and seeking to deepen its relationships within the SMA platforms it is now a part of. As part of the effort, the firm changed the name of its
Consultants Services Group to the
Managed Account Group last month, confirmed
Peter Sundman, executive vice president. Sundman oversees separately managed accounts, mutual funds and institutional products for the New York City-based manager.
Currently, Sundman said Neuberger has relationships with 13 separately managed account (SMA) platforms. The firm is pushing to place additional products onto those platforms. Most recently, it inked a deal with
UBS PaineWebber to add its small-cap core and all-cap core portfolios to the wirehouse's
ACCESS platform, Sundman confirmed.
