Ed Haldeman is helping out DST.

Last week Steve Hooley (chairman, CEO and president of DST) confirmed that Haldman is joining the Kansas City, Missouri-based mutual fund data processing giant's board of directors. The move expands DST's board to seven people.

An alum of Dartmouth and Harvard, Haldeman previously served as CEO of Freddie Mac, president and CEO (and later chairman) of Putnam, chairman and CEO of Delaware, and president and chief operating officer of United Asset Management (now called Old Mutual Asset Management).
