Fundsters at publicly-traded asset managers (or firms that aspire to be publicly-traded), there's another analyst you need to be paying attention to.

This month Barclays' Ken Hill took over the British bank's U.S. brokers, asset managers and exchanges. He also restarted Barclays' coverage of asset managers in particular.

Hill and his New York City-based team, Jason Liberman and James Luan, released a 158-page report, "Forging a Path through a Supportive Landscape", on their perspective on the three sectors they cover.
