MassMutual Financial is adding four investment choices to its Transitions, Panorama Passage, Panorama Premier and Artistry variable annuity products. Two of the new portfolios are sub-advised by outside managers while the third taps into an affiliated manager.

American Funds won placement for two of the funds in its American Funds Insurance Series -- the Asset Allocation Fund and the Growth-Income Fund. Meanwhile, Franklin is offering its Small Cap Value Securities Fund. MassMutual affiliate David L. Babson is subadvising the MML Inflation-Protected Bond Fund.

"The addition of these new investment choices will enable our clients to select from some of the best possible options in today's investment climate," said David O'Leary, senior vice president of Annuities at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company.
