Two top executives from American Skandia are moving on upon today's close of the sale of the firm to Prudential.
Wade Dokken, CEO of American Skandia, confirmed that he resigned from the firm today as a result of the sale. He did not provide details of his plans, but will remain located in Westin, Connecticut.
The former head of American Skandia's fund business,
Michael Murray, is also not staying on at Prudential according to industry sources. Murray had been working to integrate the American Skandia business with Prudential's business. He had held the title of senior vice president and national markets director since January of 2001.
