The
Charles Schwab is reorganizing to better match the way the it interacts with client segments, and manages products and services. The shake-up coincides with the announced departure of
John Philip Coghlan, vice chairman and president of
Individual Investor.
William L. Atwell, currently executive vice president, Institutional, International & Banking, will lead Client Sales & Service and Schwab Bank, which will include most elements of what was formerly Individual Investor.
Schwab' emerging affluent and affluent segment management and marketing units, also formerly part of Individual Investor, will now report to
Jody L. Bilney, executive vice president and Chief Marketing Officer.
Lon Gorman, currently vice chairman and president, Schwab Capital Markets/Asset Management Products & Services, will lead an organization that includes Capital Markets, Fixed Income, Asset Management, Corporate Services, and Schwab Institutional.
Dawn G. Lepore, vice chairman, Technology, Operations & Administration, will assume leadership for Schwab's Active Trader business.
