Travagliante had served as an external wholesaler for Innealta.
Eric Hare — senior vice president, chief operating officer, and general manager of AFAM's private client divison — confirms that Travagliante changed positions in mid-December and now reports directly to Montgomery. Travagliante, Hare says, succeeds business development senior vice president
Scott Silverman, who left Innealta this fall.
Travagliante now oversees Innealta's intermediary distribution via a two-person hybrid and internal sales team and with the support of a third-party marketing firm,
Sean Ritchlin's Rock Harbor. Travagliante's new role, Hare says, is "kind of an all-encapsulating deal."

"We're excited about what he can do," Hare says, calling Travagliante a "high-capacity individual" with a "really strong work ethic."
"Dion has the expertise, leadership and drive we need to expand our reach," Montgomery states. "Dion has played a critical role in our growth since joining the firm in 2013."
Looking ahead, Montgomery may further expand Innealta's sales team, but not just yet.
"We're always open to adding to our team," Hare says.

As for Travagliante, he's an alumnus of Boston University. Prior to joining Innealta two years ago, he spent six years at FactSet.
Silverman is an alumnus of the University of Arizona. He worked at MDT Advisers and William Blair before joining Innealta in 2009.
