Fundsters from the back-office and operations side of the business are gathering in South Florida this week.

Yesterday the NICSA team held a golf tournament at the Diplomat Golf & Tennis Club in Hallandale, Florida. Last night they kicked off their 2017 NICSA Strategic Leadership Forum (#SLFnicsa) with an opening reception at the Diplomat Resort in Hollywood, Florida. And this morning Northern Trust's Dan Houlihan, NICSA's chairman, will start off the conference sessions.

Keynote speakers scheduled to take the main stage at NICSA SLF 2017 include Scott Kelly, astronaut and retired U.S. Navy Captain, and Hannah Ubl, a generational expert from BridgeWorks. Kelly will also be on site tomorrow morning to breakfast with attendees!

A professional wardrobe consultant from the Tom James Company will be on site to meet with attendees and raffle off a free, customized shirt.

This year's SLF features 35 sponsors, exhibitors, and media partners. Big sponsors include AST, Linedata, Morningstar, and Thomson Reuters.

The conference wraps up with a lunch session on Tuesday when NICSA will recognize its MVP Awards winners.
