Montana-based
Front Street Capital Management's
Tarkio Fund has recently been
awarded the
Wall Street Journal's Category King, naming the fund as a top mid cap core fund. This is the 7th time the fund has been recognized for this award.
The key to the
Tarkio Fund's success? The Front Street folks put their best idea first, believing their best idea should be in one fund and one fund only.
"[Our strategy is] to stay focused on the process and owning it,"
Russ Piazza, portfolio manager, tells
MFWire.
The fund, which has been active since 2011, focuses on a no-load philosophy, aimed at long-term growth. The fund is distributed by
Arbor Court Capital, LLC.
