Ram Ramaswamy, vice president of alternative investments and manager selection at
Goldman Sachs has left the firm after more than 16 years,
CityWire reports.

A spokesperson from
Goldman Sachs was not immediately available for comment on plans to fill his role or who will be handling his responsibilities.
Ramaswamy has spent his entire career at Goldman, starting in 2001 after his graduation from Rutgers University. His responsibilities included manager research, portfolio construction, fund raising, risk management, and new investment product design. He focused on credit, commodities, macro, real assets, smart beta, alternative risk premium, and quantitative equity within the private wealth, institutional (including OCIO), third-party and advisory channels across the US, Europe and Asia ex-Japan.
