Tomorrow morning the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) team will host their "State of the Industry" media briefing at a Charles Schwab office in New York City. Speakers at the trade group's event will include Lisa Kidd Hunt, chair of SIFMA and executive vice president of international services and special business development at Schwab, and Kenneth Bensten, president and CEO of SIFMA.

Also tomorrow in the Big Apple, the T. Rowe Price [profile] public relations team will host a media cocktail party. The evening event will take place at Park Avenue Tavern.

Friday is the deadline to apply to join the Expect Miracles Racing Team in running the 2018 Boston Marathon. The team is affiliated with the Expect Miracles Foundation: Financial Services Against Cancer, a Boston-based charity. John Hancock is sponsoring the team, and the Boston Marathon is scheduled for April 16.
