UBS Financial Services has lured two Merrill Lynch managing directors to head its private wealth services division. Both
Anthony DeChellis and
Michael Schweitzer will report to Jamie Price, executive vice president and director of investment and marketing solutions.
The pair will oversee the group that provides investment products to affluent investors with at least $25 million of assets. Part of their mandate is to coordinate the efforts of UBS Global Asset Management, UBS Investment Bank and UBS Wealth Management in providing services to those investors.
Dechellis headed Merrill Lynch's family office group. Meanwhile, Schweitzer was Merrill Lynch's national director of sales and private wealth management. Both executives had been at Merrill Lynch for 15 years.
