A top
Fidelity and
Charles Schwab alumna is rising into a top position in U.S. sports.
| Susanne Daisley Lyons United States Olympic Committee Board Member, Chair-Elect | |
Earlier this month the United States Olympic Committee (
USOC)
confirmed that, on January 1, 2019,
Susanne Lyons will take over as chair of the USOC's board, succeeding
Larry Probst. Lyons has served on the USOC's board since 2010, and in February 2018 she
took over as USOC's acting CEO until new CEO
Sarah Hirshland took over in the summer.
Fundsters and Fidelity watchers may recognize Lyons as a former senior vice president of marketing at Fidelity. She spent a decade at the Boston Behemoth before departing in 1992. She then spent nine years at Schwab, rising to chief marketing officer.
An alumna of both Vassar and of BU's Questrom School of Business, Lyons also led Russell Reynolds Associates' San Francisco office and served as CMO of Visa.
