Thomas Kim will
rejoin the ICI in mid-October as the managing director of the
IDC (Independent Directors Council).
Kim previously served as an associate council at ICI from 1999 to 2005.

Kim joins the IDC from
Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), where he served as a senior vice president of commercial real estate for eight years. A spokesman from MBA was not immediately able to comment.
Kim will succeed
Amy Lancellotta, who has led the IDC for 13 years. Lancellotta is retiring after spending 30 years with the ICI.

Dawn Vroegop, chair of the IDC governing council, stated, "With his extensive experience as a trade association leader, Tom possesses abundant talent and skills to steer IDC to its next chapter."
A graduate of the University of California, Irvine, Kim received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds an L.L.M. from Georgetown University.
