In light of rough markets and the continued coronavirus crisis, the world's largest asset manager may not be expanding for a bit.
Larry Fink and his team at

profile] are freezing hiring worldwide, at least for now, an unnamed source
tells Reuters. A spokesman confirmed to the wire service that they've put on hold making any new offers to candidates.

BlackRock is based in New York City, now the center of the COVID-19 epidemic in the U.S., and the firm has 16,200 employees across more than 30 countries. About half of those employees are based outside the U.S.
