A senior, 16-year
Morningstar veteran and key ally to asset managers is heading "onward and upward" by exiting the business and joining the leadership team of digital technology consulting and software development firm that helps "accelerate digital transformation."

Clark Ainsworth recently joined Southborough, Massachusetts-based
AndPlus as senior vice president and head of strategic accounts,
MFWire has learned. New York City-based Ainsworth most recently served as as senior vice president for Chicago, Illinois-based Morningstar, managing "global business development and the overall relationships for Morningstar's largest strategic partners," including asset managers, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Spokespeople at Morningstar and AndPlus did not respond to inquiries for comment.

Ainsworth was with Morningstar for sixteen years, beginning his tenure there in 2005 as an index data analyst. He worked through the ranks as an institutional sales manager for Latin America, head of sales in Chile, country head of Morningstar Brazil, and eventually landed his final SVP role in the Big Apple.

Ainsworth began working with Morningstar a year after finishing college. He is an alumnus of Oberlin College and of Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
