A longtime mutual funds product and strategy exec has moved on from a behind-the-scenes trading ally in the Garden State,
MFWire has learned.
In January,
Rich Calvario, director of global strategy and product management at BNY Mellon's
Pershing, left the Jersey City, New Jersey-based firm. Pershing is a back office and trading ally to broker-dealers and RIAs, and
Calvario served as a leader for Pershing's outside mutual funds platform.
A spokesperson for Pershing confirmed that Calvario's last day was January 30 but declined to comment further.
Calvario
writes on LinkedIn, "It's been a privilege to
work alongside such a great group of professionals (and friends!). I'm proud of our accomplishments, and extremely appreciative of the
opportunity that Pershing has provided me to advance my career over the past 13 years."
"I look forward to working with you in the future and I'm excited for my next chapter," he adds.
Prior to joining Pershing in 2010, Calvario was a program manager with TIAA-CREF from 1999 to 2010. For a little less than three years before that, he served as a registered representative for Prudential Financial. Calvario is an alumnus of the University at Albany, SUNY and the Fordham Gabelli School of Business.
