On August 6, Lance McGray, managing director and head of ETF product at Sun Life's Advisors Asset Management (AAM [profile]), unveiled the launch of three actively managed ETFs: the AAM Brentview Dividend Growth ETF (BDIV on the NYSE Arca, Inc.), the AAM Sawgrass U.S. Large Cap Quality Growth ETF (SAWG), and the AAM Sawgrass U.S. Small Cap Quality Growth ETF (SAWS). AAM serves as investment advisor to all three new ETFs, and Vident Asset Management serves as subadvisor to all three. For BDIV, Brentview Investment Management, LLC also serves as subadvisor. For SAWG and SAWS, Sawgrass Asset Management, LLC also serves as subadvisor.

SAWS comes with an expense ratio of 55 basis points, while SAWG and BDIV both come with expense ratios of 49bps. The funds' inception date was July 30. As of yesterday, BDIV had about $768,000 in AUM, SAWG had about $769,000, and SAWS had about $753,000.

The PM teams for SAWS, SAWG, and BDIV all include: Austin Wen, portfolio manager at Vident; and Rafael Zayas, senior vice president and head of portfolio management and trading at Vident.

In addition to Zayas and Wen, BDIV's PM team also includes: James Booth, chief investment officer of Brentview; and Hai Vu, director of research at Brentview.

In addition to Wen and Zayas, SAWG's PM team also includes: Anthony Brooks, equity PM at Sawgrass; Marc Davis, equity PM at Sawgrass; Liridon Gila, co-CIO at Sawgrass; and Martin LaPrade, partner and equity PM at Sawgrass.

In addition to Zayas and Wen, SAWS' PM team also includes: Dean McQuiddy, co-founding principal, co-CIO, and director of equity at Sawgrass; and Patrick Riley, partner and equity PM at Sawgrass.

"We are excited to expand our ETF line-upwith these exceptional active managers who focus on dividend growth and quality strategies, respectively," McGray states. "Active management matters more than ever, and we think the expertise of Brentview and Sawgrass, coupled with the benefits of the ETF wrapper, will allow AAM to continue to offer investors unique solutions to help navigate today's challenging investment backdrop."

SAWS, SAWG, and BDIV are all series of ETFSeries Solutions. The new funds' other service providers include: Cohen & Company, Ltd. as independent accounting firm; Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP as counsel; Quasar Distributors (part of ACA's Foreside) as distributor; U.S. Bancorp Fund Services, LLC (dba U.S. Bank Global Fund Services) as administrator, fund accountant, and transfer agent; and U.S. Bank National Association as custodian and securities lending agent.
