AdvisorCentral is trying to fill a vacancy left by the departure of
Richard Joseph, COO and CFO. Joseph left the company to join
Pioneer Investment Management, announced Pioneer on Wednesday.
The company is currently evaluating whether they will fill Joseph’s position internally or externally, said
Cathy Angellis, spokeswoman for AdvisorCentral. Angellis also commented that Joseph’s departure was "very amicable."
AdvisorCentral provides advisors and broker dealers access to mutual fund account information through its portal, AdvisorCentral.com. The company is jointly owned by Fidelity Investments, Franklin Templeton Investor Services, Putnam Investments and PFPC Inc.
Joseph was hired as Pioneer’s COO and will report to Pioneer’s CEO,
Osbert Hood.
Pioneer had been searching for approximately four to six months to fill the position. Prior to that, Hood served as CEO and COO, said Denise Robbi-Arena, Pioneer spokeswoman.
Prior to AdvisorCentral, Joseph worked at Fleet Financial Group as the COO and CFO, and at The Boston Company.
