Touchstone Investments has hired
Jake King as the firm's regional vice president of Northeast sales, officials announced on Monday.
King, who started at the firm on May 10, fills a position vacated three months ago by Nancy Lavin. In Lavin's place,
John Currier, vice president, division sales manager, took over her responsibilities.
King will lighten his boss' load, covering Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. New York will remain under Currier's purview, said company spokeswoman Megan Smith.
King will be based in Boston.
Prior to joining Touchstone, King was the regional director and vice president for Gateway Financial Distributors.
Unrelated to King's hire, Touchstone is looking for other regional sales representatives, said Smith. She was unable to provide further details before presstime.
Touchstone managed $2.6 billion in assets at the end of 2003.
