Paul Schott Stevens, former general counsel of the ICI, officially succeeded Matthew Fink as president of the trade group on Tuesday.

The trade group's board of governors unanimously elected Stevens to the position on March 10.

The new president leaves the Washington, D.C. office of Dechert LLP. Prior to Dechert, Stevens worked at Charles Schwab as senior vice president and general counsel of the firm's mutual fund and international business.
