Mark Madden, lead manager of Pioneer's Emerging Markets fund, left the company on July 8.

Christopher Smart and Sam Polyak will co-manage the fund in Madden's place, Pioneer disclosed in a July 9 filing. Both are members of the company's emerging markets investment team.

Madden left Pioneer to for a job at another firm, said Tara Pescatore, spokeswoman for Pioneer.
