Computershare is two for two. The company, which acquired
Georgeson Shareholder Services (GSC) in 2003, announced Tuesday it was acquiring
Alamo Direct Mail Services for $15.5 million and $7 million in contingent consideration.
"This is a market transforming event. We believe we can lay claim to be the only 'all inclusive' proxy service provider to the mutual fund industry, an industry that has expressed enthusiastic support for this end-to-end concept," said
Steve Rothbloom, president of North America.for Computershare.
Michael Nelson, president and chief executive officer of Alamo, and other unnamed senior management will continue in their current positions.
