Dominic Martellaro joins Janus Capital as senior vice president and managing director of Global Intermediary Distribution. Janus made the announcement on Thursday.

Martellaro left a position as managing director at Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

Steve Scheid, Janus' chairman and chief executive officer, also said the fund firm launched a television advertising campaign this week. The commercials will continue into November.
