The Affiliated Managers Group is acquiring approximately $5 billion in growth equity assets from TimesSquare Capital Management, Inc., not the area otherwise known as 42nd street in Manhattan. AMG will own 60 percent of the new affiliate, known as Times Square Capital Management, LLC. TSCM executives will retain a 40 percent share.

The growth equity team at TSCM serves approximately 90 institutional clients.

Grant Babyak, Yvette Bockstein, and Tony Rosenthal leads the TSCM team of nine investment managers.
