Proxy-solicitor InvestorConnect opened a 200-seat service representative center in Lyndhurst, New Jersey on September 1. The new facility is blocks away from its 60-seat center.

The company plans on keeping both New Jersey locations, shifting representatives to the larger site and using the smaller site for backup and disaster recovery, said Andee Kroe, managing director at InvestorConnect.

The company maintains a "core group" of representatives year-round, hiring additional employees on an as-needed basis, said Kroe.

The proxy solicitation group is working on the J.P. Morgan and BankOne merger, among others, said Kroe.

InvestorConnect provides solicitation services for more than 300 funds at 40 fund companies.
