Placemark Investments is on a hiring spree. The separate account overlay manager has hired a new senior vice president of sales on the tail of hiring three new vice president of sales earlier this month.
Rudolph Bayer joins Placemark for the newly created position; Bayer will manage new hires Charles Anderson, Dru Ashcraft and Scott Egner.Bayer will be working with the current team and possibly additional hires, says spokesman David Jacobson.
The hires are part of an "overall expansion of sales…[we're] is responding to market demand," says Jacobson.
Bayer will lead Placemark's advisor outreach efforts, while Anderson, Ashcraft and Egner will promote Placemark's overlay portfolio management (OPM) product. Anderson will cover the Central U.S., Ashcraft will cover the Southwest, and Egner will cover the Northwest.
Bayer comes from Baltimore-based Meyerhoff Investment Holdings, where he was a managing director and partner.
