Social-screener Calvert has launched two funds to fill what it believes is a thin market for socially-screened value funds.

Calvert's new Small Cap Value and Mid Cap Value funds will be subadvised by Channing Capital Management. Eric McKissack, co-founder and chief investment officer of Channing, will manage both funds. Wendell Mackey of Channing will co-manage.
