Data provider NewRiver has named Roland Beaulieu as the company's new chief executive officer.

Beaulieu was previously chief operating officer at CCBN, a web-services company that was sold to Thomson Financial in March 2004.

Larry Renfro, NewRiver's former chief executive officer, will continue with the firm as a consultant.
