Placemark Investments, citing rapid growth, has added three senior vice presidents to its staff.
"Now that we've got a lot more assets under management," we can devote resources to the tasks, said David Jacobson, Placemark spokesman.
Besides asset growth, the firm also added RBC Dain Rauscher and JPMorgan Chase as sponsors in the past six months, said Jacobson. Placemark also received more funding from partners Ascent Venture Partners and North Hill Ventures in July.
John Ehinger joins the overlay manager as chief compliance officer and general counsel,
Lisa Harrington joins as vice president of institutional business development and
Joseph Rinaldi as vice president of investment operations.
Harrington reports to
Randy Bullard, chief executive officer of Placemark and leaves a position at LifeHarbor. Ehinger leaves Birmingham, Alabama-based Balch & Bingham, while Rinaldi leaves Parametric Portfolio Associates.
Citing "a very sharp rise in demand from banks," Harrington will focus on generating new sales from that channel as well as brokerages.
