Who needs horse races? As long as Bill Miller stays at Legg Mason we certainly do not. Well down the home stretch the manager of the Value Trust fund has pulled ahead of the S&P 500 by a nose after Amazon shares jumped nine percent Monday. If Miller hangs on for two more days he will have topped the index years for 14 years. We will see Friday when the post photos are in if he has again pulled it off.
