This quarter,
Vanguard will be taking the wraps off its first global index fund. The announcement that came out of the Valley Forge, Pennsylvania-based fund giant on Wednesday was picked up by several media outlets, including
The Wall Street Journal. The
Vanguard Global Stock Index Fund will track the FTSE All-World Index and will come in investor, institutional and ETF share classes.
The expense ratio for the ETF shares will be 25 bps, while the investor shares will sport a 45 bps expense ratio and the institutional shares, 20 bps.
