Social investment specialist
Domini has added two senior executives to its ranks, according to Amy Domini. The new hires will head institutional sales and finance and compliance for the Boston-based firm. Domini's primary fund is a socially-screened index fund.
Peter Salts joins the firm to as director of finance and compliance. He was most recently a mutual fund controller at American Skandia Investment Services for its 31 mutual funds. American Skandia's fund business was purchased by Prudential earlier this year.
Salts was also a senior financial analyst for Goldman Sachs Asset Management where he oversaw and managed back-office financial operations for 51 mutual funds.
The new institutional sales head is
Kyle J. Johnson, who spent the past four years at KLD Research & Analytics where he was chair of the Domini Social Index Committee. Johnson does not have a direct background in sales. He holds a master's degree in theological studies from Harvard Divinity School and a bachelor's degree in comparative religion from Harvard College.
